Oboro Hotel Guide - 3 Stars Hotels in Oboro, Akkeshi

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the Fisherman's Wharf and is very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - you choose from one of four choices each day. The beef is truly wonderful. You also get access to a small lounge by the front desk which provides free water and juice all day. There is also the option of free soup and/or curry in the evenings should you want it. Staff are lovely too.

Ramen service and ice cream after I take bath. Of course, room was clean.

Lovely, clean hotel with helpful staff & a nice breakfast buffet

We stayed here for two nights as we wanted to go and see the red-crowned cranes nearby. The staff, like all Japanese hotel staff we met, were friendly and spoke enough English to get checked in and get some decent food (we ate in the Japanese restaurant in the hotel, it was good!). The room was a decent size, beds very comfortable, and a good view of the river. We even saw two eagles sitting on the ice on the river! For an amazing breakfast, head to the fish market near the station,...

Nice onsen, polite and accomodating staff. Conveniently close to the shopping centre and the strolling area at the river Kushiro.

Beautiful countryside within a few kms. Saw 2 red crested cranes - has to be good!

Close to train station. Clean room, tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff, happy to help me with everything I needed.

Refurbishment work was going on the outside of the building

The hotel is just 5 min walk from JR station and it is also near the restaurants. If you plan to see Japanese crane I think it is better to rent a car, because the bus is quite not often and tourist attractions are far from the city.
