"I liked nearly everything about the Hu Hotel. The only thing that let it down was the water in my room. It was scalding hot, even from the cold tap, which made it impossible to have a shower. A wash in the sink once the water had cooled in the basin was my only option. I reported this on day one but, despite apparently sending an engineer to look, it didn’t change. The room itself was lovely (but avoid 605 unless you want a boiling hot shower), the staff were really personable and friendly and...

"The main issue is that the bathroom was horrible. Getting in and out of the small bathroom was difficult because of the door opening inward. The shower took forever to drain and the shower partition didn't go over far enough to block water from coming out. There was standing water in the bathroom after the shower was used. Very unfortunate because the rest of the stay was great. The room itself was spacious with lots of storage and counter space. Also, the beds were comfortable, my kids loved...

"As far as we could tell, was the only place downtown that had free parking and only 25 for pet fee. The place was very clean and could tell how hard the cleaning crew worked at keeping it that way. Same breakfast as everywhere. We would definitely stay again if we ever went back to Memphis. "
