"We had such a great experience at the Grand Lodge. I've stayed here a few times before and the overall experience has been well worth it. The pool & hot tub are excellent, there's an on-site restaurant for breakfast, and the rooms are comfortable & have all the necessities. There's plenty of on-site parking. "We liked the location of the property, and its proximity to points of interest in the area. The room was clean and spacious.
We did not like the hand held shower. It was very inconvenient. For the high price that we paid, we would have liked a regular shower.
We did not like the fact that either at check in or at check out, the deposit amounts were not explained to us. Even when we asked explicitly at checkout, we were not told. We found out later while looking at the credit card statement....
