"When I checked in, I was told by the hotel that they did not have my reservation. I showed them Hotels.Com booking confirmation but they insisted that they did not received any emails from Hotels.Com on my booking. I was lucky they was still room available and I managed to get the same room rate offered by Hotels.com. Not sure whether it was Hotels.com fault or the hotel itself. "To be fair, the lodge is actually quite new and everything is fine. Only disappointment is tat I was checked into a room that is not ready and not clean. We were subsequent checked into another room but there were no towels. Other than that, it’s all fine"

"Like most hotels in Brunei, they are Poor value, Over Priced and Venice lodge was no exception. Quality of hotels is extremely limited and bare no comparison to hotels in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, or Indonesia. Similar standard for that which I experienced at least 60% cheaper in other countries mentioned."
