"This was such a disappointment! My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary as we stayed there about 30 years ago and loved it!! My wife wanted to go again. "The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace.
We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service.
Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room.
All in all, our stay was exceptional. "

"Best part: Breakfast and the views.
Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.
Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn...

"The place was not cleaned well. The water was off we had to call the front desk. The Diswasher was fully of dishes. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. No paper towel in the kitchen, not even one to start. The wall in the kitchen was dirty"
