"It was my first trip to Bali and the offering can be overwhelming. I chose Como Uma Ubud because I wanted to be in a more quiet and relaxing environment, experiencing the rainforest and the infamous rice terraces, which I consider more typical for Bali. The stay was an absolute outstanding experience from start till end. I felt very well looked after and treated with a very warm welcome. The offerings from daily morning yoga and other activities, as well as pampering massages were simply perfect. My request to explore the rice terraces if possible off the touristic path was met with the highest standards. Made, their head of experience guided me along the terraces along with such knowledge and expertise. It was stunning. A regular shuttle is offered to get to Ubud centre, although it’s also possible to walk (this takes up to 40min in this heat it’s not for everyone and the shuttle the preferred transportation option). A very big thank you to the entire staff. You made my stay very special!"

"Our stay at the Adiwana Alas Harum was absolutely incredible and made our anniversary trip to Bali unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond, especially when we accidentally booked the wrong dates. They were so accommodating and helped us without making the situation stressful, which meant a lot to us. The room was exactly what I hoped for-- beautiful, peaceful, romantic, and perfect for celebrating out anniversary. The jungle views and the overall atmosphere made it feel like a dream. The couples massage and flower bath at the spa were amazing and honestly on the highlights of our trip. It was relaxing, luxurious, and such a perfect experience for us a couple. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and every single staff member made us feel welcome. Everyone greeted us with kindness and genuine hospitality every time we walked around the property. "My stay at Alila was perfect, the food was incredible & staff were all so friendly and attentive. Some issues with check in as had already paid & reception staff asked for whole amount again $3k AUD. Found the reception staff quite rude and was charged 854,000 IDR for 3 beers and 8 sparking waters, whilst sitting at the lobby to go I was asked for more money, this experience was terrible considering how much money I had spent at the resort during my 4 nights (NB warning do not have mini bar drinks in your room) also found someone in my room who claimed to have restocked although only 1 tonic was restocked although not the 3 cans of beer consumed which is all I had in those 4 days "
