"The hotel was lovely! It was a shame that we didn’t know they were refurbishing both restaurants while we were there. The spa is small so I’d not bother with the facilities but the treatment was great and my massage was lovely. The staff were very attentive - maybe a bit too much door knocking to see if we wanted water/mini bar/ turn down / new towels Maybe just come around the once in the afternoon. The room was awesome! There was a huge freestanding bath and the light in the ceiling like stars in the night was a classy romantic touch! Overall I’d totally recommend it. The location was perfect, the staff were very attentive and the breakfast was divine! "
