Changxing Island Hotel Guide - 5 Stars Hotels in Changxing Island, Chongming

Fantastic views and wonderful location of property. The rooms were lovely and spacious. My only gripes would be that the bar did not have the wonderful view and no drinks were served at the lounge or pool. The pool staff were not particularly helpful or friendly - no one offered a towel - had to ask for one - or any drinks or refreshments.

overall the hotel is fantastic. Location is great although overall pudong is more like a business district rather than family place as in Puxi

Excellent beautiful hope. Executive club great. All staff amazing.

This must be one of the best hotels in the city. The location is perfect on the river, and the rooms are incredibly well-appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast immensely and could spend an hour at breakfast with the choice.

Our recent Stay at the W was absolutely outstanding! From the welcome to the minute we left the team at the hotel could not do enough for us. We have stayed at a number of five star hotels in the world and can honestly say we found this to be the best. Amy the Customer Service Director and her team really know how to make your stay very very special indeed. This was our first time staying in Shanghai and I have to say that the hotel was amongst many things that made the trip the most memorable....

excellent

What can i say...its the Shangri La...world famous hotel. The hotel from checking in to the staff was first class. We stayed a few days for a double celebration....daughters birthday and our wedding anniversary. Told them in advance and they decorated our room for our daughter with balloons and a cake, and for anniversary they gave us towel swans. Lovely touch. They collected our luggage and took it up to our room after checking in. Seamless process. The check in desk was super helpful and...

Superb location, lots of quality shops and restaurants, five minutes from metro. Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Great to see rooms are undergoing refurbishment, may come back next year to check them out 😉 didn’t try breakfast (we don’t normally eat breakfast) out as fairly expensive along with internal coffee shop and so many fantastic places outside if you did want to, but if convenience is your thing it’s perfect, but we did read that it was a great breakfast.

This was the last stop on a China trip that included two Shangri-La's, 2 Hyatts and a Renaissance. The Four Seasons was a paradigm shift. From v.g.- excellent to magnificent. Wow, this hotel is exceptional. We decided it would have been on our bucket list if we'd only known. The key is the business lounge, where the service is terrific, and the food even better. Oh, and the pool. I wouldn't usually mention a pool, but this has an amazing view of the mad lights of Pudong. Great in the daytime but...

The Fairmont Peace hotel is ideally placed on the Bund and Nanjing Rd. It is a 2 minute walk to the tourist tunnel which is the best way of getting over the river to Pudong. We have stayed at many different Fairmont hotels and the standard of accommodation and service is always the same.

Amazing hotel, staff were always so friendly and helpful. It was located in a great area too.

distinguished established hotel on the Bund with excellent views across the Huangpu River. Amenities second to none. The Cons

The breakfast is hands down the best hotel breakfast I've had. The staff excellent. Room was great.
