"Reasonable stay but not to the standard promised. Our room was large with sea view (through trees and past golf course) but it was quite dated. Breakfast was very poor; food generally was mediocre and over-priced. Hot and cold jacuzzis in spa were not working (allegedly due to maintenance but no work was being done). Most poor was that one of the four restaurants was not open; we were told that they only open it when they have enough bookings and that it serves the same food as another restaurant (this is not what it says on their website). " We have been staying at this property since its Hyatt days, which makes this February visit even more disappointing. Four families travelled from different cities to celebrate an 80th birthday. Despite sharing all booking details in advance, there were repeated lapses. I received an incorrect airport pickup call meant for another guest, and the response from the front office was a routine, mechanical apology with no ownership. More seriously, although all four rooms were booked under my ID and secured with my credit card, the staff asked my father-in-law and sister-in-law for their cards and charged ₹50,000 to my sister-in-law without authorisation. Even after raising the issue, the amount has not been reversed 12 days later. On checkout, I was again asked about collecting payments from others, forcing me to settle everything myself to avoid further confusion. The property is lovely, but the front office operations are deeply disappointing. A milestone family celebration was overshadowed by preventable errors and poor handling."

"Clean, spacious room, friendly and attentive staff. The pool was temperature controlled and newly renovated. We had an excellent time here! The breakfast was excellent and the variety on offer was exceptional."

"We had a wonderful stay at Heritage Village for my birthday. Every single staff member was excellent- friendly, courteous and helpful. I can't remember all of their names but do remember Ganesh and Abigail on reception along with Naira and Balakrishna at Chutney. We spoke to the lovely female head chef at Chutney to thank her for the wonderful breakfast buffets - again her name eludes me but she was so sweet and does an excellent job. The food at both breakfast and the restaurants was out of this world and the service was impeccable throughout. Staff were so sweet in helping with any request. The rooms could be upgraded, that's my only criticism. Otherwise we were very happy, especially with the beautiful towel art for my birthday from the housekeeping team. We'll be back! Thank you to all staff for making our stay amazing "

"Can't fault the staff or service, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the room. We arrived to toothpaste splatters on the bathroom walls, spills on the cabinets and greasy prints on the doors. The staff were very kind and responsive to the request for extra cleaning however. We did also have issues with the shower not sealing properly at the bottom so the bathroom floor would flood whenever we used it. All the grout was mouldy and leaking. This would have been a fantastic stay were it not for the poorly maintained room."
