"It is a beautiful property and the staff is excellent. The bathroom is very tiny, which seems to be typical of New York hotels. The lighting in the room was very low and I have macular degeneration so it was a bit difficult to see these two negatives did not keep me from giving it an excellent rating the restaurant Next-Door we ate breakfast at three times and one dinner that was superb. The location could not have been better for sightseeing access to Subway access to shopping. It’s right across from Central Park. ! We totally enjoyed our stay. My negative with Experian is that they did not tell us that there was a residence fee per night so when we arrived, we owed 91 more dollars which negated a good part of our savings from having bundled our airline and hotel. I was disappointed with experience, but not with this hotel."
