"Hotel smelled pretty bad, pool was unusable (green and cloudy) in June in Texas, none of the ice machines were working, others staying there complained of bugs. Would not book again"

"Loved the stay! They have brand new mattresses! I know because I got there at 1:00 and watched a truckload of old ones being hauled off and the last new ones being put in the rooms. It's a safe and quiet property and the owner is so nice. The rooms look just like the photos. My only complaint would be they forgot to fill the body wash dispenser and bathed with shampoo, lol. Definitely recommend this one."

"Check in staff and night staff was great. Day staff was not helpful and often times not as nice as night staff. Multiple times night staff asked if we needed a late check out at 12:00pm to just let them know and they would take care of us. Night staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. If I based my review on the night staff it would be all 5 stars. "The hotel is a bit dated, which doesn't bother me, the room was large and I really appreciated the door between the bedroom and living room. The elevator was rickety, so we took the stairs often. There was a terrible smell in one of the stair wells. The furniture (fold out couch and chairs) were decent, but they really need to be cleaned, a professional wet hoover would do wonders.
