"This is an amazing hotel chain; we try to stay at a Drury if there are any nearby when we travel. Recently, we were in Pooler, GA. We enjoyed the Plaza hotel lobby popcorn, 5:30 meal amenity, 2 free drinks, and the provided breakfast. We used the hot tub/pool, but not the gym equipment. The check-in/our desk was most courteous. There was plenty of parking and a Gate gas station across the street. However, there is one thing that absolutely annoyed us. We have not found this in any other hotel. When entering the bathroom, a motion sensor automatically turns the light on, BUT, if you are in the shower with a curtain drawn, the light goes off. Complete darkness! Not safe!! Also, in the middle of the night, the light is blinding and harsh. I was not happy with that new feature!! A diffused night light would suffice."

"The location is walkable to shopping and restaurants. You have complimentary happy hour in the evenings daily. Candy and refreshments in the early afternoon and discounts at local restaurants. Many add-ons we didn’t expect, the room was clean and spacious for a girls trip of three."
