"I stayed at this property for a very short visit and unfortunately had a concerning experience with both room conditions and how issues were handled by management.
Upon check-in, there were crumbs on the floor near the bed. When this was brought up, I felt the issue was dismissed and the crumbs were attributed to my child, despite us having just arrived and only having brought pizza into the room after noticing the condition.
During my stay, the vanity fixture in the room fell and landed on me. This same broken vanity/board had exposed nails, and I was later instructed to move it myself, which created a serious safety concern. Instead of this being treated as a maintenance or safety issue, I was told I had “forcibly caused it to fall” which felt like blame was being shifted rather than the issue being addressed appropriately.
Additionally, the door lock in the original room did not function properly, which resulted in us needing to change rooms late at night around 11pm. During this process, a staff member mentioned she would “get in trouble” for moving us but also stated that “the customer is always right,” which felt unprofessional and confusing given the situation.
Overall, while many staff members were kind and helpful—including housekeeping, who were pleasant and responsive, and the breakfast attendants, who were especially friendly and attentive—the experience was significantly impacted by how the issues were handled by management."
