"I came in at 3:30 (check-in is at three) and was told that my room would not be available for another hour which is absolutely ridiculous because I had plans that night and I needed to be in my hotel room to get ready plus I’m out of town so I didn’t have anything to go do. After an hour I came back in and had to wait another 30 minutes. I usually stay at La Quinta down the street but they were booked but I’ve never had to deal with anything like that with them. I understand if it was a slight delay but it was an hour and a half +30 minutes after check-in. The room should be ready at 3 PM. They were also telling other guests that they had to wait. The lady at the front desk was very kind but I will not be staying there again."

"This hotel was perfect and great location. We pulled up and everything was tucked away instantly including our car. Staff is very friendly and clean lovely rooms. You can walk all over town easily. We had a gala so we didn’t get to try their restaurants but we plan to next time around. I highly recommend your next stay in Boise to be at the Avery! "

"They advertise a restaurant on site but do not say it is only for dinner. There was only coffee in the lobby for breakfast. I had twice requested early check in due to a medical condition and they refused to give it to me until I kept complaining. And their normal check in is not until 4. The front desk staff were not very helpful or sympathetic."
