Très propre et bien placé

Logés dans un appartement proche de l’hôtel, récemment rénové dans une résidence calme. Très bien placé pour une découverte de la ville à pieds. Parfait pour une famille de 4 personnes. Climatisation récente et efficace, un vrai plus en plein été.

Check in was a little confusing because the location is different from the actual room. Other than that the room was very clean and modern. The area around was a little below average but still walkable to almost anything.

1 nacht vol te houden

Toen we aankwamen konden we inchecken bij de receptie, prima. We werden niet prettig geholpen. Door twee verschillende personen en niet netjes. Ons hotel zat 300m verder. Hier werden we niet naar toe begeleid en we moesten aan de hand van een soort foto kaart naar onze kamer lopen. Heel raar. De buurt zag er ook een beetje raar uit. We konden onze auto ook niet dicht bij onze kamer neer zetten. Dus zouden we weer richting de receptie moeten voor de garage. Onze auto paste ook bijna niet door de ingang van de garage omdat dat zo krap was. Daarom moesten we de auto wel op straat laten staan maar dan wel betalen. Anders betaalde je het hotel per nacht voor het parkeren in de garage. Over onze kamer (706) waren we niet helemaal tevreden. Ruimte zat maar totaal geen sfeer. De airco werkte niet goed en er was handgel in de douche opgehangen waarmee je dus zou moeten douchen… raar… de bedden lagen prima en er was een rolluik zodat alles goed donker werd. De koelkast werd niet koud genoeg. Gelukkig was dit onze tussenstop maar we zouden het hier geen week volhouden het was het allemaal net niet.

Very unfriendly check in. Directions were scribbled and covered with circles he drew while clearly irritated being at work. Took long time to find the deluxe rooms. Codes are good but very sensitive - took many tries to actually get it to work. Water pressure is awesome! Room was very clean and the common area cozy but unusable really. Too far to go to main hotel for breakfast. But BOLOGNA is absolutely stunning!

I stayed in the apartments section of the hotel. Did not feel safe as main door was always found open. The shower hose was broken and I was not able to shower on the first day. Also there is no cleaning only once a week.

We were here for 1 night on September 20 and it was about 80 degrees out. The property was separate from the Astoria hotel which we new from the listing but it was quite difficult to find, We were hot and sweating and frustrated trying to find it. Luckily we saw a man in the area and he was very nice to point us in the right direction. When we got to the first door, the key pad was very touchy and it took at least 5 times to be able to get the door open. Our room was big, clean and modern with a very nice bathroom and shower, but it was hot and humid and the air conditioning did little to nothing. We set the air on 18 and it would run for a while then shut off for a bit even though it was still hot in the room, plus it only ran on one speed - low! We took cold showers and I didn’t use the blow dryer because it was already too hot in there. We left the air on and went to dinner. We were gone for 3 hours and when we got back after dark the room had barely cooled! Since it was cooler outside we opened the window and left the air on. The window opened to a rooftop surrounded by other buildings and it was quiet outside. There was no screen but we there weren’t any bugs at all outside and nothing came in all night.There was only a sheet on the bed and no blanket which didn’t matter since we didn’t even pull up the sheet until the middle of the night because it was so warm! Glad we only had 1 night here. We both like to sleep in a cool room and we would never stay here again.

Easter Egg Hunt

Could not find the room using the location provided from Hotels.com’s link. The room’s location was not precise enough. Resulting in several phones calls, a walk to the hotel, were they provided a map with unclear instructions to the room’s location. The map was not useful. Luckily a non English speaking gentleman helped us find the room by using our phone to talk to the hotel staff. The room didn’t meet our expectations. The room was small and I couldn’t get the air conditioner to turn on using the remote control. We were offered a room in the hotel for 40 more euro.

not very pleasant

Hi Astoria - it was not a very pleasant stay at your hotel. I don't think you can call the room deluxe. Aircondition wasn't on when we arrived. We couldn't make it work probably, it didn't cool that much. The smell in the room was not nice. The service was bad. It was hard to get the door code to work. The wifi didn't work, the password to it was not accepted . As it did not do for some other guests as well. I which we had booked another hotel

Would not stay here ever again

Didn’t realize that where the check in desk was located was different than the unit where we would be staying. The instructions the staff gave was confusing and we had to go back and have someone show us the location. Our unit was on the main floor and had a terrible view. The A/C unit was loud and rattled noisily on and off.

Lo unico bueno que tiene este "hotel" es la ubicacion que esta cerca de la estacion de trenes, de ahí en más nada. El personal de recepcion sin ninguna intencion de ayudar, nada de amabilidad, se hace chek in en un lado y las habitaciones estan en otro lado, es mas un edificio de departamentos que un hotel para llegar a ese lugar es dificil porque pues ni te llevan solo medio te explican como llegar, te dan una clave para acceder a 3 puertas y tienes que presionar las teclas con algo fino porque al tacto no funciona, no hay agua caliente, no hay internet, en pocas palabras todo mal. Me deje llevar por la ubicacion pero la realidad es de que es un pesimo lugar, hay mas hoteles en la misma ubicacion y probablemente mejor.
