Needed a "pet-friendly" place to stop over on our trip back from Melbourne to Adelaide. While the motel is a little dated, the room was clean and well-equipped with generous supplies of tea, coffee, milk etc Service at both check in and check out were efficient and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find a good Malaysian Restaurant in the town (Camca Garpu). Overall a pleasant, refreshing way to break the journey.

Close to “white kangaroo viewing” but motel is very basic and in desperate need of renovation- staff shortages when we were there meant restaurant was closed but I doubt we would have been tempted anyway

Staff were very welcoming and room was fine for a stop over but not accom I would want to stay longer than that. Carpet quite stained and limited to very little crockery and cuttlery (one platic teaspoon and 2 knives). Very noisy fridge, old air con but worked well and good shower.

Served a purpose

This was a pit stop on a road trip. The staff are very helpful. The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster & electric blanket but was very dated with peeling plaster in the bathroom and enamel peeling in the sink. It's a short drive to the main town. If you don't mind constant traffic and railroad noise and basic accommodation then this is the place to stay.
