No noise problems. Tips: (1) loud pigeons on the roof nearby are scared off if you flip the window shades up & down a couple of times, and they don’t come back for quite a while. "We really enjoyed our stay at this location. Rooms were clean and spacious, we had no issues finding it and it is very convenient to a station stop for bus/tram/train. The area itself is pretty quiet though there are other hotels and restaurants nearby."

"The apartment/hotel room was great. Sitting right on the canal. A couple minute walk from the closest tram station. Everything you need was a couple minutes away."

"Very well located (short walks to Riksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw), on a quiet canal. The Frans Hals apartment is on the back, with a garden view (but no access to the garden), and very quiet. Major negative is tiny bedroom, barely big enough for double bed. Good bathroom and shower, adequate kitchenette. Dishwasher is tricky: won’t start unless upper tray is pushed all the way in, including the tabs at the sides. "

"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."

"Our family of 4 recently stayed here during our visit to Amsterdam and it was absolutely perfect! Agnes was an AMAZING hostess and the apartment was even better than we had imagined - wonderful location for everything we wanted to do and very comfy to return to after a long day. The bedrooms being downstairs was especially nice and quiet. We already want to plan our return and stay here again! "
