"The room and the hotel were clean enough. They can do some deep cleaning every month though like the sides on the floor. Parking was easy and safe but I wish it was free for the customers. The only problem is I think they should change their curtains in the bathroom as they have brown colours on it. It is the easiest thing to do as I normally put it in the washing machine and clean mine and it’s like brand new."

"Fantastic old building with lots of character by the river and in the middle of Tewkesbury. We arrived late and the staff really helpful getting us settled in. We had a good meal in the bar outside by the river. We were there in a heat wave and the staff had gone out of their way to make our room as cool as possible. Really relaxed stay."

"I wished there was air conditioning in the room and in the areas leading to the room as it was so hot and there was no breeze so having the windows being didn’t help much. The fan provided didn’t help as there wasn’t any cool air coming through the window, so the fan was simply blowing warm air. Our only other observation was that there were a few areas near to where we stayed which looked a little tired. It just needs a small amount of attention, like a coat of paint on the doors, a few minor repairs on the windows which look a bit shabby…It’s such a beautiful hotel, it’s a shame these little issues haven’t been addressed. I would still stay here again in a heartbeat though!"
