"I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside. My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!! Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items. Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases...

"We only booked The Queen In The West the night before staying. We called and spoke to a member of staff about a couple of questions we had, they answered all our questions being incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Our welcome was perfect, the lady was very helpful and welcoming. The room was a good size with a bathroom right next door but no one else used it as it was at the top of the stairs. "Had a wonderful three-night stay at The Gin Trap Inn during May 2025. We stayed in The Stables room with our young dog - it was her first trip away so she was a bit excited and nervous, which she demonstrated by barking more than she should ! The hotel staff were wonderful, dealing with her politely and lessening our embarrassment.
