"I loved our one night here. It was a stop off on the way further south but I wish we could have stayed longer. So peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay happen, even when we arrived late. We ate our breakfast outside in the courtyard which was idyllic. The food was gorgeous. We shopped in the farm shop afterwards and bought more than we needed as it all looked (and was) so good. A really lovely stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Really ovely room. ...

"Place was lovely. Our only drawback was the shower wasn’t the best. There was a little to no pressure for the hot water which made showering difficult. Other than that. Louise a host was wonderful. She went out of her way to meet us. We got there early to check in the room was enchanting, love the high ceiling and new windows and the view was amazing. Highly recommended."

"The staff were very nice and genuine. Breakfast was straightforward and decent. The room was clean and comfortable, pressure on the shower was good. The hotel is at the top of a hill, which isn't an issue unless you have real mobility problems. The property has no lifts. There is a patrons car attached with an exit onto a small one way road, which was easy to exit."

"A small hotel (12 beds) a little way out from the centre of town. The free parking for one car is a boon. Its a 15 minute walk to the Forum (where I was going) and the centre of town. Be aware that on the way back it is almost all uphill and its steep. Staff disappear about 5.30pm so its good to check in before then. The room was compact but nice, shower was good and powerful. Some nice touches - bath robe provided and chocs on the tea tray. Breakfast was ok but not much choice for a vegan....

"Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bad sehr modern, allerdings verursachte eine Klimaanlage auf dem Gang nachts äußerst störende Geräusche so dass man mit Ohrenstöpseln schlafen musste. Die Einrichtung war recht neu aber Geschmacksache. Das Frühstück war völlig ok, hat man schon besser gesehen. Es gab eine Vertrauensbar mit ausreichend Getränken und Snacks. Allerdings spricht die Homepage des Hauses immer noch von einem Restaurant und einer Bar mit Cocktails. Das gibt es nicht mehr, was wir anders...

"The staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. Check in and check out was simple and the walkthrough was fine. However, our stay did not meet our expectations. The room did not look ANYTHING like the photos on Expedia. Room #2 specifically was damp and smelled a bit stale and moist. The carpet certainly needed a cleaning and the room did not appear in a regency style we were expecting for our engagement trip. We may have had the one room in the hotel that was not in that style but we were...

"I was checked into a disability room, which although OK is designed for wheelchair users. The sink was low and had no plug in it, so shaving was hard. The room was hot, and although there wasa fan, the window opened fully and wasn't safe to leave open overnight due to it being on the ground floor. The radiator front panel was falling off and the room had no desk/table to use for eating or work. Whilst I appreciate this is a budget hotel, simple things like a plug and mending a broken radiator...
