"We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area."

"The heating/ac unit was way too loud. Had to turn it off so I could hear the tv. Room was very clean - beds comfortable. The breakfast was good - standard breakfast buffet. Coffee very good. Gentlemen at check-in was awesome. My only "complaint" is that I booked through Expedia and the room was one of three that look out at the mechanical systems that are enclosed above the pool. I had no view - just a brick wall. Couldn't see to the left or right. A little sky showed above. I realize...

"It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around."
