Excellent hotel where the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and sauna were a nice little area to relax on a down day. the bar and cafe were nice with a lovely outdoor area to sit.

What a fantastic time we had. A beautiful old hotel with fabulous views over the river. Every staff member was helpful and we even got a pack up to take with us for our early flight! Fully recommend

I like the Devin. It’s a beautiful location close to the centre. The hotel has a feel of old luxury but slightly dated and past its prime. Balcony rooms are a good size but made the mistake of booking a single room once and it was like a shoebox. Breakfast is a very basic buffet. Staff are polite but serious. Check-in takes forever and seems over-complicated. If you are even one minute late for checkout staff ring to ask why and there is absolutely no complimentary late checkout, even by half an hour. I would stay again, mainly because of the room size and location.

The accommodations were comfortable, the location was excellent, the staff was attentive and the breakfast was terrific. Would stay again. Be advised the heated indoor pool is only open after 2pm. My only disappointment was not being able to swim in the morning, as this was the primary reason I booked this hotel over others. For a fee I was able to use the pool at the larger hotel next door- which was fabulous and had views of the Castle.
Twin beds with twin comforters pushed together to make one king bed. Is standard in EU. Ask for extra pillows to bridge the gap.
Small room but feels bigger with the smart layout, terrace and the views.
Bathroom was roomy for a small hotel room.
Shower had excellent water pressure with plenty of hit water.
