Staybridge Suites Rehoboth Beach by IHG
8/10 Good
"We had a good stay overall. The suite was large with a separate bedroom from the living area and kitchenette (no door to close it off, though). The bathroom was very clean and the kitchen was, too, for the most part. There was old, sticky gum mashed on the floor in the middle of the kitchenette (which we unsuccessfully attempted to wipe up), directly in the path where everyone walked to get to the bathroom as well as in and out of the room. The lady at the front desk said she would make note of it and housecleaning “might get to it” the next day. We were only staying one night so that didn’t help us. We ended up putting a hand towel on the floor to cover the gum so that we didn’t keep stepping on it. There were also several large white crumbs on the carpet in the living area that I picked up with a paper towel and many, very visible fingerprints on the wall next to the first bed in the bedroom. Maybe housekeeping simply overlooked those things while in a rush, but for a place that charges you $50 preemptively for incidentals (before you even walk into the room), you have a high expectation for cleanliness."
