First and last time staying at this resort. This place looks nothing like the pictures on the brochure or online. Rooms- dirty, severely outdated, cracks in the walls, old beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, a lightbulb in the bathroom for your light. No facecloths, only one bottle of water daily for two people even though you can’t drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth. Room not sound proof at all, you hear everything. Food- absolutely disgusting aside from the omelettes at breakfast and a few other things. They tried to pass off cut up hotdog wieners for ham at the omelette station one morning. Even the specialty restaurants (good luck trying to get a reservation, almost impossible) are not very good, maybe one or two items are okay. The food is very much geared towards the Mexican people who are on vacation there and they get preferential treatment. Drinks- they use super cheap alcohol, and if you don’t tip every single time they are rude. And the drinks are not good. Not enough lounge chairs at the pool, they get saved at a very early hour every morning. They will clean the pool and add chemicals during the day so you can’t use the pool. Entertainment is terrible. There are better resorts around, don’t stay at this one. Better yet, find a condo or apartment to rent. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Way too expensive for what you get. This is a one star resort, giving two stars would be very generous!!!

Had to do a little walk to get to the ocean, walking across the street. No big deal if you don't mind walking, as the street has basically no traffic. Food was good, had a few issues with a couple of the servers, but no big deal. Rooms were big and cozy, property was in really good conditions, no issues whatsoever with room services. They have plenty of restaurants to pick from, but you have to remember to make reservations early in the morning because they fill up pretty quick and you have to do it on a daily basis. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with the buffets, which are not bad and they have two of them. Good variety of food. Two problems, though. They have plenty of pools, but they close them at 6 pm, which I never heard of. I didn't mind it that much because I love jumping in the ocean and I barely use the pool, but sometimes I like to go in the pool for a few minutes before getting ready for dinner. Other hotels usually stay opened until 8 or 9 pm. And my other main issue was that I made reservations through Expedia for 3 couples. And when I arrived to the hotel, they only found a reservation for one of the couples (not even mine) using the confirmation I received from Expedia. I was kind of mad because they say they had no way of knowing we were coming together and they oit us on separate areas. I don't see the point on making a reservation through Expedia if there's no communication among them. Bad experience that way and barely any help

The room was spotless, the food was excellent. The only complaint would be the walls in the room. We had a door in the wall to the adjacent room and could hear everything unfortunately plus the drain was plugged up in the shower. Beautiful beach though! Theater was very entertaining and with the cartel stuff going on we felt safe and the resort was well-stocked! We had a great time!

Todo muy amable, lo único fue el check in, hubo un problema al principio y no querían darnos la habitación, cuando habíamos reservado y pagado con más de un mes de anticipación, se mostró todo los comprobantes y papeles, después d eun rato nos entregaron la habitación, fuera de eso todo muy bien

Be prepared for the long walk, just to go to your room and take your luggage for three flight stairs as An old hotel building are old room are pretty old. There is no body wash or hand wash and for the staff, they have to do good work hiring bilingual staff, but other than that the staff were super nice and cooperative amenities were good, but they are reservation portal was not working to book the restaurant so you have to do manually everything and for the quality of food, it was worst food was stayed. It was repeated multiple times from one of a restaurant to another if you are vegetarian or vegan. Best of luck staying in this hotel.

The beach was great, and so was the view from the ocean front block. The food at both the buffets and restaurants on site were terrible. It was also disappointing that you can't take food out of the restaurants or snack shacks, or order it to your room or beach chair. If you stay, be prepared to venture out to eat. The rooms were okay, they could definitely could use a deep clean. The beach isn't private, so there is a lot of pan handling during the day.

For me, I keep coming back because the staff are all top notch, cleaning staff, bar staff, restaurant staff, maintenance, also the entertainment staff go above and and beyond with exuberance, and trying to get people involved. The room was cleaned daily to an acceptable standard. The pools were great as were the buffets for all meals, there was always options at all meals. The grounds were beautifully kept. Wifi has improved greatly the last couple of years, it is so appreciated. These are areas that need improvement the reservation system for the à la carte restaurants totally sucked… you had to be in the line up by 7:30 each morning. Also the lounge chairs on beach were an issue every day to reserve/save so that you could have a little shade under the palapas, more longe chairs & palapas are desperately needed. All in all enjoyed our stay, but with a few minor improvements the resort could be rated much higher.

Room style was average, no elevators. Mexican restaurant overall had the best food, buffet and others were below average. Definitely not a party or fun crowd resort. Staff was nice and courteous. Spa massage is really good for the price. Good location if you want to walk around and try out local spots.

The resort is in the processnof making improvements however the food amd variety is lacking after 1 week of the same old same.old I was ready tonleave. The grounds and staff are excellent hopefully the improvements continue
