"This is a property that reflects the area with the feel of the west. It is very well maintained and upscale but not pretentious. It provides a hot breakfast to start your day and homemade cookies. The staff were all personable. It is within walking distance to the Cody Cattle Company dinner show and the rodeo."

"It was a different set up. We had Room 129 and instead of two queen beds in one room, It was two separate rooms. One had a closet setup the other one had a too large chair in the closet space. It would be great if they would put a shelf in it with a rod and hangers to hang clothes. Staff were super friendly and helpful with some lighting concerns we had. They have beautiful hanging baskets right by the room and a large green grassy yard with a picnic table. I would stay there again."

"We didn’t pay to get a lot of amenities so I can’t speak to that. The room was nice enough and clean. It was difficult to get hot water and my shower never got very hot. One of my personal complaints is that the sink did not have a cover over the drain and that’s my pet peeve. I’m always afraid I’ll drop something down that drain like the cap to my toothpaste or some jewelry I’m trying to put on. Also the fan in the bathroom was connected to the light in the bathroom so every second the light...

"There was no place to hang clothes on a clothes hanger. The carpet was worn and pulled up on some edges near the walls. A large loud aggressively barking dog was immediately behind a wooden fence at my rooms entry door. It barked every few minutes during one morning I attempted to sleep in until 11:00 AM. The dog’s reactions to my family’s coming and going from our room gave me serious concern that he would attack us if he got through the wood fence. I would not recommend staying at this...

"We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Cody. Nice accommodations! So quaint! Its a shame that this property was overshadowed by 2 chain motels, but now it's a well kept secret...The front desk people were very nice and provided great ideas for local spots to tour. The gift shop is perhaps the best in town. If you want a coffee pot/am coffee for the room, just ask. It will be delivered promptly. Clean, reasonable price, comfy beds, couldn't have asked for more. Thanks! Will stay there again...

"It was a dated property but had been kept very clean with no pets and no smoking. Our room curtains didnt work well and let in light, and the chairs were usable but wobbly. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well. Coffee available in room and lobby. Front desk lady was nice."

"Loved this historical hotel in Cody. It was clean, very roomy and even had a historic toilet. In the middle of all the stores, had a gun show in the street and the rodeo was right down the road. "

"Housekeeping walked into our room at 8:00 a.m., wife came to the door wearing nothing but a bed sheet, to greet the staff member walking into the room. Check out is at 11:00, not 8.. went to front desk, nicely complained to management, told us they would refund our room, never did. Not happy at all. We got in at 1:00 in the morning, might have got to bed by 2:00. Not a very resting evening. Not sure what business housekeeping has walking into a room at 8:00 a.m. but not acceptable in our book."

"Can’t say enough good about the manager Matt. Place is unique with some rooms more desirable than others. No dining on site but our unit had a kitchenette. Again Matt and his wife were fantastic."
