"Lovely old building in the centre of Buxton. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It was ideal for a short stay. They seemed to be a bit short-staffed generally and the waiter at breakfast was rather rude. The hotel would benefit from some updating and parking is tricky. There's no free parking at the hotel or nearby and the parking there is outside the hotel was full."

"From checking in to checking out the experience was first class. The staff were warm and welcoming with a professional and friendly attitude.
