Golden beaches invite long walks where the North Sea meets pristine dunes at this charming coastal resort. Relax at beachfront cafes after cycling the coastal paths or visit the nearby nature reserve in Het Zwin.
Expensive but high quality. Staff great and hotel facilities what you would expect
Only one bar and restaurant but handy for the beachfront with plenty of choice
One thing to watch is car parking is very expensive at €45 a night. Shame to rip off high value customers

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend.
My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Then when checking in online, we were asked to pay an extra price for a cot. That's like...

Very cool place, a hotel in the old building of the sailors' school. The building breathes nautical history, yet it has all the modern elements you'd expect from a hotel. We loved this place !

Such a great hotel with lovely friendly staff
Clean, beautiful decor. The breakfast was one of the best we’d had in a hotel. Good location close to all amenities and the beach

Fabulous place to stay.
We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception!
Everything else was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and included three huge blocks of Belgian chocolate and several bottles of fizz, if you wanted...

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Breakfast there was plenty of choice and all produce were good quality. The brownies and Panna cotta are the best i've ever tasted.

Excellent hotel in a great location, only 10 min walk from the train station and close to many great places to eat, drink and explore. Our room was very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Location was excellent right in the heart of Bruges.
Room was first class, clean spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic view over the square.
Staff encountered were all helpful and polite.

Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision. Staff are extremely warm, even bringing tea/waffles to my room very late at night. Only regret is I could only stay one night. Will...

The hotel is based in a beautiful villa on the moat just outside the city centre of Middelburg, a lovely location to spend a few days in.
There is ample private parking, and our room, in the new extension, was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spacious bathroom had a bath and shower.
The continental breakfast buffet was excellent.
We would have liked an outside light to enjoy the patio in the evening and the switch for the central light was in the corridor.
These small gripes won't...

Overall, the hotel is great; the staff are friendly, the continental breakfast was good with many choices, there was secure Ironman storage for bikes and other baggage, and the location was not far from 'green' lower cost parking.
The bathroom extractor fan did not work but this did not impact on the really hood shower.

Beautiful hotel, great location and the staff were very helpful.
The lift is quite small and the stairs very steep therefore maybe tricky for those with mobility issues.
We loved it and will definitely return
