Very nice place , although it will be a bit hectic when fully occupied. Great walks available around the park and the cabin was clean and well presented. Friendly and knowledgable reception staff.

We love the location. Gorgeous views. Close to Crystal Cascades, Red Beret Hotel, Redlynch shopping centre and easy access onto the major roads. The rocks swimming hole is also just around the corner, as is the lovely redlynch connection walk which was great to take the kids and scooters (or just yourself) for an early morning walk. More playgrounds across the road. The playground, bbq, pool and amenities on site were fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Our cabin had everything we needed.

The natural surrounds to the park are magnificent and I enjoyed driving up to it daily while staying there. Tall, forested hills. Easy parking. I found it quiet there at night, as it's not near a busy road. The bathroom was poky and could have been designed better, with half the size shower recess (it's large, taking up too much room in a limited space), and then the saved space given over to shelving for guests' things. A sliding door on the bathroom would have added room. The rest was okay, although always disappointed in a cabin not to find a larger fridge. Wi-fi worked.

Crystal Cascades is like a little slice of heaven nestled in amongst the rainforest. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains, the rainforest and creek are practically at your doorstep. It was quiet and peaceful. The children loved the swimming pool and the fresh coconuts. The only thing that could have been improved upon, was a games room, other than that everything was amazing.

A fantastic place to relax

We found Crystal Cascades Big 4 to be a great place to relax and you are so close to Cairns and all its attractions yet once you get back to the park you feel a million miles away. The park was spotless and well maintained the staff were friendly and very helpful great place for the kids to play and swim and wind down after the long drives.

Family getaway for four. Peacefull, quiet and the folk staying around us were lovely people too. Lovely cooking facilities inside and out made even more homely. Would love to go back there!

Nice place...bed a little old and in need of a make over. ..but otherwise ok. ..I was able to find much better hotel room for a fraction more of the cost. .200 meters from the beach. ..and in peak season. .but staff are exceptional. ..
