"We stayed for two nights in a quadruple family room. The room itself was quite dated, although it was clean overall. There was some dust underneath the pull-out bed, which could have been addressed more thoroughly. On a positive note, the double bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep.
The in-room facilities were good, with a nice selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was powerful, which was a real plus.
The hotel as a whole could benefit from some refurbishment, as there were signs of wear and tear, including ripped wallpaper in some of the public areas.
We really enjoyed the continental breakfast, which offered a good variety including cereals, yoghurts, croissants, spreads, ham, and cheese. The catering staff were friendly and clearly worked hard to keep everything well stocked.
Overall, the location is perfect for exploring the Cambridge on foot."
