"We made a reservation for this property based on the 9.4 rating and being completely unfamiliar with the area trusted what we saw online. "Loved, loved, loved this place!! Staff was super friendly and very informative about local pizza places. Channel was awesome, kind and accommodating to our needs. The room was spacious and clean. The pool area was wonderful with a spa and pool—both clean. The breakfast was exceptional with bacon, eggs, potatoes, cereal and all the other “continental” items. "We understand that it's hot in Tucson, but having the air conditioning set at 77 for people checking in is unacceptable. The room stayed at 85 to 90 degrees most of the night trying to catch up. We'd suggest a lower temp setting if you know that room is reserved. It was an OK room and property, didn't think it was unique or special like they try to market it as. Great price for a night."

"We had a problem with our door key/locking mechanism and the desk was not helpful in resolving the problem. They wanted us to move from a Lahni upper pool view suite to a lower regular room facing a rock wall with zero compensation for the large downgrade in room. They would not call in a maintenance technician to replace the battery in the door. I got tools from my car opened the door mechanism, cleaned the battery contacts and the door worked fine. This took 2.5 hours ruined our dining plans...
