The hotel is quirky, charming and stunningly beautiful. If you want to completely relax and sit and admire a beautiful view go no further. Use of a car is almost essential and although the hotel is off the beaten track, there are good road links to sight seeing opportunities. My only slight negative would be the food. I can only imagine the chef is on a tight budget, which is a tremendous shame. The staff are very good and you are made extremely welcome.You do feel they are really interested...

Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti nella camera deluxe. La cura nei dettagli è ciò che distingue il resort. Camera finemente sistemata, pulizia e ordine ovunque, ciò che viene fornito nei bagni ed di ottima qualità. Il punto di forza del resort è sicuramente la spa, non sembra nemmeno di essere in un resort vista la grandezza....

We stayed at Castello di Monterone for just one night. .. our wedding anniversary present to ourselves. The castle is as close to a vision of a fairytale with turrets and castellated roof terraces as you can get. We wandered through the hotel and out onto the roof to admire the wonderful views, inside we loved seeing gorgeous old furniture and suits of armour, found a little library area too. Great hotel in the perfect location. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. My only thing that could have made it better was an earlier breakfast slot. We had to leave early on two mornings of our stay but there was no takeaway breakfast option available. Other than that, it was wonderful.

I stayed here as a base for a retreat so I wanted something simple but comfortable enough. This fitted the bill. Beautiful views, a perfectly good breakfast, and a chapel within the hotel (which, in Assisi, if you’re there as a pilgrim or retreatant, is a very nice unexpected addition). It was a bit difficult to find because I followed the maps app instead of my instinct, but I would come back readily.

What a place ! Everything was fantastic! Sylvia goes above and beyond to make sure you have the most wonderful time. The accommodation is immaculate and comfortable,and the breakfast is delicious .. different every morning and all home made ! Thank you again for our time with you x

We stayed at the Brufani Palace for 5 days. We could not fault the hotel in any way. The staff were always helpful and courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was plentiful and the hotel is in an ideal location to explore the historic town of Perugia. The air conditioning was effective and very quiet, a bonus when the temperature averaged 37°C outside. Fabulous hotel. Beautiful gardens & pool. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, they were incredibly helpful and always willing to help with anything and everything. I booked the honeymoon suite for 7 nights but didn’t realise it didn’t have a balcony so they moved us to a different room after the 2nd night. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!!!
