We stayed for two nights, very bad living experience, there is no hard water for shower on first night, we called reception for help, but the on call staff had went home, only security guy was there. The guy called manager for help, but manager was not willing to come to fix. 2nd day, manager called facility guy come and tried to fix, but when we want to take shower after dinner, the hard water just came for 10 mins, then turned to cold again. We finally gave up and took cold water shower....it really poor facility and bad service.

Cold water and noisy

at first glance the place looks nice but as we got settled in the place seemed run down, when we arrived there was no staff and the room hadn’t been clean. Later that night we found that none of the showers or baths worked. They were all freezing cold and hardly a drop came out at a time. When we went to bed the club next door was blaring and we couldn’t sleep for hours.

The villa was really run down. Photos do not do it justice. Pool was dirty. Villa overflooded due to rain. I couldn’t book any other villas near by due to NYE bookings so I was forced to stay there.

As we only booked 30 mins before arrival it would seem the staff were unable to clean the villa bathrooms in time. They cleaned the rooms the next day however there was still hair in the shower grates and a half used piece of soap in the shower from the previous tenants... There was no hot water for the duration of our stay (4 nights) however we made do once we sourced a gas bottle from the staff. Apparently they had called the techs to repair it but they never showed up... Apart from that the property was quite comfortable with functional air cons, close proximity to good cafe, bars and the beach. The master bedroom has fixed louvered windows which made it quite hot during the day and very loud with construction and live music right next door at night... If you are keen to party and not sleep too much this place would be fantastic due to its location right across the road from Finns Beach Club which is top notch :) Staff were very friendly but not overly helpful mostly due to a language barrier i suppose.

Pics do not show lack of mainenance & other issues

Built to high standards worn over time. Smelled of mildew when we arrived. Air conditioning helped somewhat. Unique architectural design, but maintenance was obviously not kept up to date. Interior water damage evident everywhere. The water cooler did not cool, dishes had been put away dirty & had mold on them, microwave also had mold growing. We cleaned these ourselves. Blood stained sheets on master bed. Staff turned off the air conditioning whenever they entered - we were constantly fighting to keep it cool. The master vents below the windows do not close, meaning it is impossible to cool the room without having blackout drapes fully closed. Power went off twice, internet was sporadic at best. Breakfast was boiled eggs, 1 piece of toast, corn flakes in a bowl. Twice eggs were served warm but not cooked. The other breakfast option was processed cheese sandwiches. Lots of decent dining options nearby, however lots of bars mean loud techno and base filled dance music starts at noon until after midnight. Bring ear plugs. Sullen taxi drivers on property. You can not ever leave the building without staff asking "where are you going"? Trying to lure you into overpriced rides (200,000rp to go to Kuta when Uber or Bluebird is 45,000). However Uber drivers will not pick you up there for seriously fear of physical assault from the "taxi mafia". Laundry prices by the piece v expensive go to Kuta for the day pay by kilo. I would not come here again if you paid me.
