The Staff are lovely and the breakfast is great and cooked to order and the pool and garden are pleasant. That's the end of the positives. There is no bar, spa, coffee shop and not all transport is free. The rooms and the hotel are old and run down, would have been lovely once. The hotel is too expensive for what you get. Chipped, broken and stained bathrooms and all the matts for furniture old and faded. The futon bed which was to make extra sleeping, would never be Ok to sleep on. Management have put fake grass everywhere to cover the broken tiles and floorboards. The foundations in the main walk area are sinking! Nice area with great restaurants around, other newer hotels to choose from.

Very nice cosy place. They have like 10 rooms. Was in one on the basement with a huge exterior bathroom. Nothing better than a midnight bath under the stars upon arriving at my destination. Place was really calm, next to a rice field. Could hear tropical birds singing when resting around. Rooms, surroundings and swimming pool really clean. Sunday evening BBQ was a nice addition and the staff is truly helpful and devoted. I.e. paid by mistake twice the room. The owner got in touch with me later and drove back and forth for nearly 3h to my hotel to personally bring me the cash to reimburse me. Will be back!

Fantastic location, villa, food and staff. Nothing you want is too hard for staff to help you with 24 hrs a day. Very much felt at home. Highly recommend. Caters very well for westerners. Returned home yesterday and looking to book this villa again ASAP. Ideally suited for quite and relaxing time in the villa but close enough for nightlife and cafes.

Ngeluwungan Boutique Wow!

This is a really great place to stay, booked it for our family and we all loved it. The staff are terrific and the setting is really picturesque with beautifully developed gardens, access to rooms is via timber walkways that 'float' over fish ponds and the pool overlooks rice paddies to the west. A morning swim, a lemon grass tea straight out of the herb garden and a house made omelette for breakfast, what better way to start your day!

Loved everything about it!!!

Loved everything about our stay! We had a private villa that was clean and spacious. The staff goes above and beyond to meet your every need and the grounds are beautiful! Tucked away from the busy tourist locations, we weee very relaxed and It’s a short taxi or scooter ride to Canguu (about 10minutes).

Charming boutique hotel with great staff

We loved the place. With sparkling clean room, bathroom with outdoor shower and bath, delicious food and drinks and amazing staff. They really go out of their way to ensure that guests have everything they might need or want ( for example mosquito spray, free cell phone). Beautiful common areas. You feel well taken care of during the entire time. Staff is amazing, they all want you to have a good time. I absolutely loved every minute spent there and can't wait to be back. Totally worth staying.

Dream Resort!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was so private and the room was an absolute dream. We chose the outdoor bathroom which had its pros and cons but we knew that upon choosing the outdoor bathroom. They provided bug sprays and citronella to plug in for the mosquitos. The staff was amazing. We spent most of our time with Agus. He took us to Tanah Lot and picked us up a couple times. He was so accomadating and spoke great English. I had a sore throat and they made me tea straight from the garden. It was so nice and they definitely spoil you here. The pool was really nice, it was set against rice paddies and there were chairs and day beds with covers to sit under. It was beautiful and we LOVED this resort!

Feel like you are a member of a family

My only concern was not the transport provided by the staff in the villa in to Canguu ( they are nice guys ) but the issues regarding local drivers monopolizing the car hire industry and the issues and overcharging (compared to BlueBird taxis) when returning to the villa. Other than that this is a beautiful villa close to a few restaurants which are in a country lane amongst the paddi fields

Peaceful Pradise in rural Bali

If you want a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of the island, this is your place. I loved every minute of my holiday here. The staff gives 110% to make you feel at home. This was our first time in Bali and I wanted to do some exploring, the Villa provided us a car and a driver so travelling around was absolutely stress free. You can also borrow a bike or a scooter if you feel adventurous. They also provide plenty of activities to choose from (or just do them all like we did). Saturday you can visit a local orphanage that is sponsored by Ngeluwungan Villa, serve their dinner and play with the children afterwards (they are adorable). Sunday is the day of the fish market where you can pick up the freshest catch of the day and later participate in the seafood bbq, live music and Balinese dance by Star and Moon (the two lovely ladies who made our lush breakfasts in the mornings). The Secret waterfall tour is a must with Gede. It is a lifetime experience. He also took us on day trips to Ubud, Uluwatu and I can't thank him enough for being such a great guide. On wednesday there is an option to see the breathtaking sunset at Tanah Lot and a real Balinese feast back at the villa afterwards with all sorts of delicacies. Our room was amazing with an outdoor bathroom that added an extra bit of charm to our stay. Most nights we had our dinner at the villa, it was always fresh, tasty and prepared with care.

Great Staff and a nice hotel.

This a good hotel made great by the staff, they make you feel welcome to their home and always are pleasant and helpful. We used the hotel to sort a car and driver to get around and they were excelent. The food y Star and Moon is amazing and the guys behind the bar can whit up somthing special when you want it. This is a great place to stay, small and comfortable.

Oases of harmony near the beach

Wonderful three weeks of holiday. Especially the staff who took care of us in a most competent and warm-hearted way was a special benefit to our stay. The food of the hotel's restaurant was more than delicious. We never ate better dishes anywhere else in Asia. Even an Malaysian couple (who are used to eat Asian Food) couldn't stop praising the cooks. The room was large and the bed was large too and very comfortable. Roomservice in any respect was perfect. We made a tour to the "Secrete Waterfall". This was an amazing event that we will never forget and which is most recommendable. The hotel offers a scooter for a few Dollars to explore the area which was very interesting.

Personnel sans gêne, hotel mal tenu.

J'ai fait confiance aux commentaires positifs, grave erreur...voici un petit hôtel dans lequel les employés sont livrés à eux mêmes, résultat : sans gêne, écoutent la musique très fort jusque tard le soir et à l'heure de l'éventuelle sieste (ici on se lève tôt et une petite sieste vers 14h n'est pas un luxe..) , à nous de descendre leur demander de baisser le son..ils se parlent d'un endroit à l'autre sans se soucier de déranger etc...je croyais arrive dans un petit hotel calme pour me reposer, c'est raté. ! Une bonne note par contre au jardinier, le jardin est impeccable, contrairement aux chambres qui vieillissent mal...abattant W C jauni , baignoire au fond douteux...draps tâchés. .....j'avais fait l'erreur de payer 6 nuits à l'avance, sans quoi je serais partie au bout d'une nuit! Passez votre chemin, vous trouverez bien meilleur rapport qualité prix dans les environs !

Prachtig, puur, klein onderkomen in rustig Changgu

De kamers zijn ruim met heerlijk bed en stille ac, badkamer ruim met bad. Gehele terrein is mooi ingericht met natuurlijke en soms mooi doorleefde materialen en straalt puurheid en warmte uit. Diverse plekjes om rustig te zitten, te liggen of bijvoorbeeld gemasseerd te worden. Uitzicht oo rijstvelden. Ontbijt kan gehele dag genoten worden. Pure sapjes, jam en pindakaas, kruidentuin waar je ook zelf mag plukken voor bijvoorbeeld een kopje muntthee. Alle medewerkers zijn lief en attent. Een plek waar je rust kan vinden. Ligt aan leuke weg met verschillende andere villas, op loopafstand van Perenan strand, waarvanuit je direct door kan lopen nar Echo beach. Eigen vervoer is wel handig als je in eetstraat van Changgu wil eten, zitten diverse hippe, leuke en lekkere restaurants. Al het vervoer is te regelen via hun.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff

Really good hotel and great staff, free Sunday bbq was amazing considering we just got to the hotel after being stuck in traffic from the airport. It is not in walkable distance from the beach and you will need a car or scooter. The pool is ok. Overall the hotel is generally is good condition some wear and tear. The transport provided by the hotel is pricey.

Eher durchschnittlicher Aufenthalt

Positiv: Das Personal hat uns am Eingang direkt sehr freundlich empfangen und unser Zimmer gezeigt. Der Innenhof des Hotels ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas abseits des Geschehens und ohne Fahrzeug schwierig. Wer es jedoch ruhig mag, für den ist es genau das Richtige. Der Strand, welcher fußläufig erreichbar ist, ist jedoch hauptsächlich für Wassersport geeignet. Negativ: In unserem Zimmer hing noch das Handtuch des vorherigen Besuchers, die Badematten waren dreckig (Haare auf dem Boden), der Wäschekorb für Handtücher noch voll von vorherigen Gästen und wir hatten zwei mittelgroße Schimmelflecken an der Decke des Bads. Das Wasser im Waschbecken lief sehr schlecht ab und die Duschamatur war locker. Insgesamt war besonders das Badezimmer nicht sonderlich sauber. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem Obstteller, ein wenig Toast und Kaffe bzw. Saft. Alles weitere wurde zusätzlich berechnet. Insgesamt ein durchschnittlicher Aufenthalt, trotz sehr freundlichem Personal, da die Mängel an der einen Stelle doch überwogen.
