He kindly offered to pack a breakfast for me, as the complimentary shuttle bus pick up was at 5am and breakfast is served at 6am. That thoughtful gesture meant everything. The room was spacious and clean. Best sleep I had on my 10 day trip. Felt refreshed and ready for my 5 hour flight home. Thank you for the hospitality."

"Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did."
