To avoid guests misunderstanding what they have booked, I send all guests exact photos and details of the apartment they booked. You said you did not receive this message, but I have sent you and Expedia a copy of your reply to my message - so you did receive the photos. First you reported to Expedia that there was no room for you (which there was) then that there was no view (the Expedia assistant confirmed they could see the sea in the photo), then you complained the apartment was dirty. Why are there 3 different reasons? We always refund guests where we have been in the wrong or ensure that guests are perfectly happy. It is probable that you may have misunderstood what you had reserved and then not read my email or looked at the photos. This is a pity but I believe we did all possible to ensure you and all our guests are happy.

How wonderful you enjoyed our facilities and location -a seaside holiday is a dream come true. The staff are fluent in English,but many guests speak with accents and even I struggle to understand some English dialects. I am sure some 'South African English' can be confusing - ha! ha! Experiencing different cultures can be the joy of a holiday. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed south Africa - a "world in one country".

Many guests come for just one night and then are disappointed they did not stay longer - there is so much to do all around the Cape. Guests have sometimes joked that "amy closer and you would be on a yacht". Guests really are surprised at how amazingly close we are to the ocean. the photos somehow cannot show this .... I wish we could share the sound of the waves with potential guests. Thank you for your compliments and we are so please we satisfied all your wishes.

The Expedia Partner Central site has a template which suits hotels and not also Guest houses and B&B's but I have tried to describe features as clearly as possible. As a rule it is wise when touring South Africa to hire a car. This is a large country and distances are vast and generally public transport is minimal. Routes and highways are clearly marked and easy to follow. I am so pleased that we were able to assist you with your needs.

I am so happy that we were able to ensure you had a lovely stay. The Penthouse has 2 bedrooms - one with a queen-size bed and the other with a king or twin beds plus two pull out beds, suitable for children. I would not recommend the apartment for more than 4 adults, however 2 adults may like 2 children to join them in the second room. Ideally you can also rent the Forest Suite, which is so close it is convenient. Most important is we like to ensure that all guess are comfortable and happy so that they have a wonderful experience in South Africa

Oh, we are SO thrilled when our guests have a wonderful time. I agree that you do need at lest 4 to 5 days to enjoy all the local activities. Many guests who have booked for 1 or 2 days are disappointed when they have to leave because they have booked elsewhere. We are central in the Cape so you can enjoy so many exciting adventures (also relaxing!) all around. We can also organise discounted whale viewing, or a stay at a 'Big 5' Game Reserve. Remember also just to relax and enjoy the wonderful sea as it washes up close to the house so you can return home refreshed from a wonderful holiday.

How wonderful that your hope of lovely accommodation was realised. I feel passionate that we must fulfil the dreams of our guests ... and yes, guest should try to stay at least 4 days so they can enjoy all the local adventures - some energetic like horse riding, some relaxing like sipping wine at sunset.
