Highlight is the view feom the bar and pool deck. Staff were helpful. Felicia at breakfast is a very sweet lady. Apartment had a bad smell so they gave us a spray for the drains. We needed a plug cinverter and thay wasnpeovided promptly with no issues. Bathroom was poorly finished. There are not many plug sockets but the bedside lamps had alots foe charging cables. Ok stay for 2 days.

This hotels location is amazing it’s one block to the promenade. The breakfast needs some help, staff never refilled any of the juices etc. and to be honest the staff were the most unfriendly I’ve encountered. The kids club is a nice touch if you have children. The upper desk has a beautiful view.

Excellent hotel . Clean spacious room . Everyone is so helpful and extremely nice and friendly We stayed for two nights . Left for wedding in Parrl and ending up coming back to Cape Town and staying here agdin . 100 % recommend staying here

Hidden Gem!!

The staff were the stars of this hotel, they were so friendly and helpful, nothing we asked was an effort. Service with a smile made us feel so welcome! Breakfast was amazing, best of the 6 hotels we stayed at on this trip which included Ritz-Carlton! Well done guys!

The Hyde offers a great view of the coast at their roof top dining bar and pool side, the staff make you feel like family and you can not beat the location local services and safe community. as is in any stay sometimes there are challenges I found management quick to respond and they went above beyond to give us an amazing stay. The morning buffet is great with the mainstay of most breakfast wants and order up eggs in almost any style. Lunch on the rooftop gives a great break and dinners and a magical sunset as you watch the paragliders go by.

It's a nice hotel with large suites. It was comfortable. They provide a basic necessities in the room and kitchen. It would be better with a teapot. Heating only in main room, not bedroom. Only one elevator. Parking convenient.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Hotel. On the bright side - location was good, the room big and staff friendly. But the room especially the floor were not clean (even after I asked to clean the floor so our daughter can crawl there). There is no AC in the bedroom only living room. It was extremly loud. I don't know where the noise was coming from. All in all we did not enjoy our stay and definitely not for the price we paid.

Disappointing stay

No running water on day 2. Leakage in the batroom resulting in a constant puddle on the floor. Dirty floor. Very dated gym with some equupment not working. Very friendly staff.

I can't rave about this property enough. We spent the last night of our Cape Town holiday here and it was exactly what we needed to relax after very touristy days. We were greeted by Ashley and receptionist Susan, customer service was beyond expectation. The room was phenomenal and kids play area was exactly what we needed. Susan arranged Portia to babysit *Families she is amazing and my husband and I got to go for child free dinner and my kids loved her. We even managed a late check out as we had 9pm flight but got use of the pool for the remainder of the day and bothered Ashley constantly while we went back and forth to the luggage room. Will recommend to anyone and will definitely be our hotel of choice for all future CT trips. Great Staff, everyone was so friendly and rooms and facilities were amazing. 15 out of 10

Clean and with really friendly staff. 3rd floor room was quiet. Breakfast was tasty. Nothing wrong with the hotel for a family stay for a couple of nights. My only issue was with the pool, the wood around it was old and it was easy to get splinters / there was lots of metal bits screwed into it that you could catch your foot on.
