Good place to stay for a longer term rental. Excellent location with lots of food choices nearby. Property has some maintenance / cleanliness issues but if you aren't super picky you will be happy. Staff is very friendly and easy to work with.

This hotel is a bit weird - we had a very pleasant stay, everything was clean and the staff were fantastic. The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to shops, excellent restaurants and bars. The views from our balcony over the city to the water were lovely. The room layout is rather obscure - with some windows facing into the hotel. The shower door in our penthouse couldn't fully open because the toilet was in the way so it made for interesting maneuvers to get in and out of the shower. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay here for one night before we flew out of CPT.

Comfortable but noisy!

The whole concept of the place is nice. Nice rooms nice layout etc. However, we stayed there over the weekend and the noise from the surrounding bars is just way to much! They actually need to change their windows and doors to provide better sound proof. We only had hot water on one of the three nights we stayed there.

Excellent choice for an apartment

We stayed at The rockwell for 5 nights. The area is waking distance to the V and A and there are several pubs and restaurants in the area. The underground parking was secure for our rented vehicle and overall the apartment was clean and spacious. We will definitely return to the Rockwell. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so welcome.

A lovely hotel with great service. Table Top Mountain as a view from our room and plenty of restaurants nearby made it a very pleasant stay. Plenty of secure parking in basement.

Great large apartments and balcony, great location

Apartments are large and just like the pics, the 1 bedrooms are on the 1st floor and 2 bedroom and above on higher floors, if you can get a corner facing high up on the correct side you have a stunning view of table mountain and also the harbour, facilities needs minor updates breakfast was ok, service was excellent and they try to make your stay very enjoyable, the manager Colin was very helpful too

The Rockwell 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in had all the facilities which we wanted - two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a bath and a shower, plus good kitchen facilities for self-catering - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, plus washing machine and dryer. However, the location of the hotel on a busy main road, and next to a 24- hour petrol station means that there is constant noise, cars, people shouting to each-other, and the fact that the door to our balcony did not close, meant that we had very little sleep. Although the cleaners come in daily, it was hit or miss whether they did a full clean, and it has certainly been a long time since a thorough clean has been done - tablets, leftover bottle tops, dust, dirt, on the floors in the bedroom and bathroom. Poor internet service - no internet for the first three days, and when we reported this to the Receptionist - her response was "why are you telling me?" In-room safe would not work for the duration of our stay - we had the handy-man in twice to try to repair it, and in the end he said he would have to order a new one. No facility for a late check-out - we asked three days in advance if we could stay an hour or two later, happy to pay, apparently it was up to the discretion of the Duty Receptionist on the actual day to agree - you had to ring at 8 a.m. on the day, but no guarantee. Limited engagement from the numerous staff who appeared disinterested in guests; even on checkout - not even a "thanks for staying/goodbye".

Perfect for business trip

We loved this place! We were four coworkers traveling and had a 3 bedroom apartment with 3 1/2 baths and kitchen. Had some problems with the wifi the first days due to the load sharing but reception staff was super helpful and tried their best to sort it out for us. Close to V&A, the stadium, Sea Point, Green Point and Down Town area. Would definately book again.

Besøgte hotellet for 2.gang. Denne gang for 2 nætter. Vi fik en slidt lejlighed med utæt bruser (=sejlende badgulv). Blev ikke udbedret selvom vi gav besked. Rengøring ikke i top. Meget beskidte gulve i lejligheden. Ellers gode faciliteter og beliggenheden er rigtig god. Gåafstand til mange ting. Parkeringskælder mod mindre gebyr. Nemt at finde fra lufthavnen.

Great Hotel with Central Location

Overall very pleased with our stay at Rockwell All Suite Hotel & Apartments. The suite was spacious and clean with modern decor. Breakfast was great and it was convenient to have parking on site. Definitely recommended!

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Die Lage ist zentral, angenehm das dazugehörige Parkhaus , unsere Penthouse Suite war gut ausgestattet, die Klimaanlage war nicht optimal zu regulieren und ein Vergrößerungsspiegel im Badezimmer wäre bei der Beleuchtung auch schön gewesen. Der Service an der Rezeption kann noch besser werden, insgesamt gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
