"This is a great place to stay"

"I booked a room online shortly after midnight on 7 July. I understand the dates changed and it wouldn’t allow me to choose the 6th of July anymore so I choose the 7 and leave the 8th. I was thinking the hotel attendant would understand and fix it on that end once my son explained. Needless to say they were unable and my son went to another hotel who was user friendly. My son and grandkids only needed the room for 12 hours to rest and recuperate but the hotel staff couldn’t pull it off so my son...

"We chose this hotel based on reviews but they clearly were not authentic. The place is in desperate need of maintenance. There were only 3 guests in the whole place (including us) and yet the front desk gal would not or could not figure out how to give us a bottom floor room with two beds. We used a third party app because it had a room with “a king bed and two twins” as an option. When we arrived, we were told they don’t have any rooms like that and we had to take the king bed on the 2nd floor....

"When I went to the room, the key couldn’t open the door. When the staff came she couldn’t open the door. So she moved us to another room. When we got there the door did opened but the room wasn’t clean. So the staff told another guest to move out of his room for us. That was the last straw we asked for a refund."

"Nobody on premises and is abandoned. It took me an hour to finally get ahold of someone and they told me to find someone else due to not having anyone there. Hopefully I get my money back since I booked the room for 2 days and wasn't even able to check in / get a room."

"I feel that La Quinta is one of the nicer hotel choices for Elk City, OK. However, The landscaping could use some attention as the rock/gravel was bare in some spots or in piles. Definitely need to get the elevator fixed ASAP. This was a terrible inconvenience having to haul luggage up 3 flights of stairs then all the way down the hallway to room."

"If a little mustyness doesn't bother you, it's a good value place with a solid breakfast, comfortable beds, and a clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, etc. Coffee was gone when we arrived Saturday, and it took a while for them to make some more. It is not "bold" coffee, which we prefer. We were there Saturday and Sunday. Weekdays may be different. The rooms were nicely furnished, comfortable bed, but kind of musty. If you...
