Although it is an old building it has been updated and still retains it's character ,staff were very helpful including Mary who kept me supplied with drink

The overview looked like we had a nice view of the bay, but there was no view from the rooms. Parking was tight and would fill up at peak times.

Staff very helpful Food good, great to get home cooked meals, and not all the usual chain microwaved / boil in the bag meals. Only down side can be a bit noisey, we were the room directly above the bar, with it being so hot we had to have our windows open so my little boy struggled getting to sleep, after the first night we kinda got used to the train noises and the noisy banter outside the front of the pub. All in all would recommend , my little boy wants to come back, the staff were all amazing with him, one waiter even tried to help repair his scooter when the chain came off. Very friendly nice hotel, in great location.

Lovely homely hotel, friendly staff.. Stepped off train, right into hotel.. Noise from passing trains didn't bother us even with window open all night.. Room compact but everything we needed.. Shower only cold water in morning but staff member apologised & got someone on to it.. Food in bar amazing & breakfast so tasty, 1 of best we've ever had.. Will defo be back..

Lovely hotel in an excellent location on the sea front and next to the train station. Rooms were clean and breakfast great. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. Would definitely stay again

Room was adequate. Great price. Very clean. Towels were fab. Toilet paper was a very poor quality. The girl in the dining room at breakfast was fantastic. Very attentive. Breakfast choices were great. Just too much on the plate for my husband and i. We both felt the bar was pricy. £8.90 for a small bottle of prosecco. However we had a lovely stay znd would definitely return.

Traditional scottish hotel conveniently located near town centre and train station. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and well maintained room. Tasty breakfast. Bar and restaurant located withing the hotel property. Beware that the hotel is located no more than fifty yards from the railroad tracks. Trains run frequently during the day and there is also vehicles traffic right outside the window.
