Stayed at The Station Hotel for 2 night's July, easy check in even after hours, room was big and clean albeit basic but had everything you would need, staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfast was amazing, dinner even better and very reasonable price wise, lovely bar and well stocked. Overall a very good stay would highly recommend a visit we will be back for sure.

Pleasant staff able to meet your requirements. Meals were very enjoyable, catering for Coeliacs too. Comfortable bed with sufficient space in the bedroom along with a neat bathroom with shower.

Just what I wanted, clean nice staff and anything I asked for was provided instantly, nothing was a hassle and the staff were on hand but not in your face, great value and left alone for my fishing visit to the area.

Lovely Hotel and staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was to much bother for them and the bed in room 10 was huge and so comfy also the Dinner and Breakfast we had was so tasty and big. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely use this Hotel again.

I like Station hotels I’ve stayed in 5 but Carnoustie is the best , unfortunately on this occasion I took ill and they went over and above to assist me on a medical emergency, luckily everything was fine ,,, but regarding the hotel the food was first class the rooms are spotless , will be back in the near future

Very welcoming Hotel with easy check-in. All staff were excellent, great evening meals and breakfasts with very generous portions. Onsite bar is well stocked with great barman and friendly locals and visitors alike. Clean and good sized room and bathroom.

Great overnight stay

The Station Hotel was perfect for an overnight stay on our way home. The staff were very welcoming and we had a nice dinner in the evening and a very good breakfast the next morning. The room was as one would expect for a small hotel and was well equipped with tea, coffee, biscuits etc and good quality towels. For the price paid, it was exceptional value for money.

Another Night Away

This hotel is a gem. Friendly staff and good beer and food. I like this type of establishment as you are not a credit card walking through the door. Very close to the railway as the name indicates but it did not disturb me.

Very close to Railway Station (Obviously). Room vibrates as trains go past. Not a lot to do in local area unless you are into golf. Food and drik prices average.
