"The Cairn hotel is an older hotel, and in need of updating in places, I found the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I had a small single room, which was adequate for my needs. But I did notice a couple of small areas in the ensuite shower room where it looked as though repairs had been left unfinished. Being detached from the main building gave us all of the benefits of the hotel but a slightly quieter experience. James was very helpful when I asked for assistance with the phone and dinner recommendations off property. We would definitely stay here again! "
