"This hotel is comfortable and friendly. Conveniently, there are all meals available with a lovely restaurant and a beautiful garden patio to sit outside. It's also located so you can walk in all directions to tourist sites, shopping, and eateries. I didn't have the right electrical converter and asked the front desk if they had one. They tried but could not find one. They did suggest a nearby shop where I could buy one. The shop would be closed at that time, so I sat down for a glass of wine at the bar. Talking to the bartender, I said I needed a converter. Well, he had one at the bar he would lend to me. Wonderful! And then, the next day, housekeeping also dropped one off. The front desk did not let go of my want; each and every person I talked to worked on my issue. That was so nice!"

"Rooms are well kept and beds very comfortable. Staff are amazing! We arrived on a Saturday night and we could hear disco music from a place nearby. When mentioned to the reception, our room was changed to a quieter side of the property without the need to ask. Impeachable attention to the guests comfort "

"We booked 7 nights but we had to leave after a night stay. The day we arrived to the hotel at night but there is no one in the front desk so we had to wait over 40 minutes wondering what went wrong! Imagine how anyone will feel about this! The room is not clean and no towels in the room so we had to go down to the front desk to ask for towels. The towels are so old and had the bleach a over the towels and the towel mats! No hocks in the bathroom for towels either. Absolutely not recommend anyone to stay in Casa Joseph. If I could give a 0 rating, I would."

La ubicacion es buena, no es necesariamente la calle principal en el centro del movimiento pero lo suficientemente caminable para manejarse bien. El cuarto cómodo, la cama cómoda, podrían modernizar un poco el tema baños...volvería? definitivamente."

"I had a few worries after reading Google reviews just before check-in, but my 10-night stay was absolutely fine (and great value). I booked a single room and got a double - even better, it was at the end of the building with a window opening to the outside instead of into the hallway. The extra space and fresh air was much appreciated for my long stay. The bed was comfy and the room had plenty of floor and surface space for all my stuff. There would be space for two, and though the bathroom door is glass, it's frosted and full-height so provides privacy. But only one side of the bed had a table and reading light. Great location - just off a main avenue with shops, cafes, restaurants, buses to everywhere right outside, and Subte stations for two underground lines within 10 mins walk. I felt safe walking alone as a woman even at night. Luggage was stored on a locked chain after checkout. Cleaning staff greeted me warmly in the hallways and the guy who checked me in was friendly. Points for improvement: - Room lighting is very dim, particularly over the desk. A desk lamp would help. - Comfier desk chair would be nice. - Lighting on the staircase could also be a bit brighter for safe climbing. - The shower door lets a lot of water out - the bathmat got soaked after only one or two showers, requiring daily changes. - Sheets/blanket and towels had some brown stains. - The way the bed is made with a sheet on top of the duvet folded under is annoying. - Only two pillows."
