"The breakfasts are ample and served by the plate--quite good, with fruit. We ate one evening meal--again quite good with a very tender filet mignon. The staff (especially Michael) love their town and represent it well; the guide (Robert Terry) to the Vicksburg Battlefield they recommended is personally known to them and did a great job. The owners are quite young and locally prominent. Quite well done, all in all."
"Elizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience.
The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and fun to interact with Staff and...

"Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!"
"We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience."
"We were very pleased with our night here. The lady who greeted us at the front desk was great! She saw that I had apparently booked a smoking room by accident & changed it for us right away, which we greatly appreciated. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and all the employees were friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here the next time we make this trip!"
"Comfortable bed, our tub started leaking and they didn’t have anyone of fix it, we got a towels to soak the water up that was leaking into the living areas . No contact from management."
