Town Houses in Cattenom et Environs

Located in central Luxembourg, this 5* hotel was the perfect luxury base for a weekend visit. From the outside the hotel looks dated, but after checking in, you can enjoy newly refurbished facilities. The rooms were very large and had plush furnishings. The only down side at the hotel was that the spa/pool/gym facilities have not been brought up to scratch, they did feel dated and did not match the rest of the hotels facilities. The Melia Luxembourg is new and squeaky clean and a good choice if you want to stay at a more high-end hotel and prefer to be outside the hustle and bustle of the touristic town center. My room, the "Melia Guestroom", had a view of the old city accross the gorge, was quite spacious and had a wonderful bed and a nice bathroom (and free nespresso). Modern, chic and very comfortable hotel with amazingly fitted out rooms. Try to get a room with a view over the Old City - well worth the extra!

A fantastic hotel, charming old world style but with a modern twist. The staff are extremely friendly, and put themselves out to help you. The food is superb and cannot be faulted. There are two dining options in the evening (including the restaurant with 3 Michelin Stars - at the expected high price). Excellent facilities in a great location with welcoming staff

Lovely hotel, right in the centre with lots of lovely bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Having said that, the rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Also having said that there re three restaurants in the hotel which are all very good. Special mention to, I think, Max (?) on reception who was a real sweetie. All the staff were very friendly, jokey and chatty.

The hotel looks really good, cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast has enough options and the bar area is quiet and enjoyable during evenings.

I don’t typically leave written reviews for hotel properties, but NOTO Hotel warrants one. I highly recommend if you are looking for an ultra modern, high end hotel at the lower end price. Had a fantastic night sleep and found the entire experience truly of high quality. Thank you Noto we will absolutely return if in Luxembourg!

Nice breakfast, good air con, nice local restaurants

Lovely hotel and would definitely recommend. The rooms were sound proof which is a miracle these days. Usually you are kept awake by neighbours and banging hotel room doors. Just be mindful that on Sundays most places are closed and the hotel bakery closes at 1.00. The hotel restaurant offered quite an expensive buffet only on Sunday lunchtimes.

Our stay at Sofitel Luxembourg Europe was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The check-in was warm and professional, and we were delighted to be allowed to check in much earlier than expected, which made a huge difference after our journey.
