I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon.
The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards.
We booked an elegance room which has a hot tub, but our hot tub didn't work, so they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. The staff were a delight and happy to help and take...

Hotel was great with really good facilities and good location for touring Lake Garda.
Staff very good with Andrei in particular deserves special mention.
Only slight negative was variety at breakfast varied dependant on time you arrived at restaurant. Otherwise would strongly recommend to family and friends

Wow after reading the reviews we wasn’t expecting much but what a hotel . Staff from the minute we arrived were brilliant . Very helpful and so polite . Cleaners were brilliant and even when lift was out of order offered to carry bags up 2 flights of stairs for us .
The breakfast was brilliant and a lovely view of the mountains to go with it .
Each morning after breakfast before heading out we didn’t have access to a pool ,but we did have free access to a water park with about 20 different...

The hotel is beautiful, well kept and presented and the staff were fantastic. Just far enough outside the main town to be peaceful without it feeling isolated

Lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed at and we travel a lot. Modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the dining rooms. We travelled out of season, so many local restaurants and activities were not available but the weather was still perfect which made our visit to Barolino even more special.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have found the service impeccable! The rooms modern and clean and facilities great.
I have recently returned from a short break with my husband - we were upgraded which was a lovely surprise.
The hotel is the perfect location for walks along the lake. The walk into Bardolino takes approx 20mins but its such a pretty walk and plenty of seating to stop and take in the scenery.
The town has loads of great bars and restaurants especially Loggia...

Great location! In the heart of the old town, felt very safe.
Breakfast was excellent, prefect for a day of exploring,
Staff were very friendly, and brilliant at breakfast too!
Room was very clean.
Highly recommend and should be a 4 star hotel!
Very impressive and would recommend to anyone!

Quirky hotel in a great location between the Arena and Juliet’s balcony.
My single room was spacious with everything I needed. The bed was definitely bigger than a single! The welcome drink was a nice touch on arrival.
Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety of hot and cold food. The hotel was very busy though!

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps.
Hotel staff were exceptional in their attention to detail from the staff at reception and throughout the facility to the unsung heroes who ensured our stay was without any low points.
Beautiful room which was of an exeptional standard which wanted for nothing.

Just returned from a lovely week at the Excelsior. The hotel is in a lovely position just outside the main town which was ideal as we were less than 5 minutes from the ferries and restaurants but more peaceful (apart from the night when a radio show was being broadcast from the nearest bar, although it wasn't unbearably loud). The staff were, without exception, excellent - polite, friendly and helpful.
We had originally booked a standard room which was ok, if rather small, but fortunately...

This is our second visit to Opera Relais de Charme and it's been another full ratings visit.
The appartment is so close to the main points of interest. Also in a restriced area for most car traffic.
We used the train to visit Lake Garda and with an all day ticket travelled via hyrofoil to explore many towns. Take to the mountains via cable car.
Look down from 1,790 metres to the lake. You can train from Verona to Venice or Milan.
When we visit again we plan to use Verona airport. It's not ...
