"The room initially looked fine. But then we noticed the dirty towels and that the trash hadn’t been emptied. It took a bit to get clean towels and there seemed to be no real care about the problem."

"I loved this hotel…the only thing I disliked was that you could heard conversations in the next room as if they were sitting in front of you. VERY thin walls. The hot breakfast was wonderful with many options and they had a spacious and clean breakfast room. Bedding was also very comfortable."

"What ever you do don’t use your debit card to pay. They take double the amount per night as a hold and don’t tell you upon check in. I’m still waiting for these pending 1200 to go back into my bank account to be able to use. I wish someone would have told me that I should use a credit card when paying at property everything else was good! But trapped funds is extremely inconvenient."

"There were stains on the sheets so we slept on top of them. Stains on the window blinds, a/c was meh, bathroom toilet handle loose, room smelled musty and was sticky. Towels were stiff. Honestly if we didn’t need to stay there we would have immediately left."

"Clean , helpful staff 29 minute drive from train station . We enjoyed our suite . Would stay there again and recommend to our friends ."

"The Bookhouse is a wonderful concept! Prioritizing books, making them accessible everywhere, is delightful. There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable. Whatever scent is used in the house, apparent on the threshold, overwhelming...
