Fridge didn't work it room staff changed it to another not working fridge . Room was dirty bathroom was worse one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in India. And they had the audacity to charge me 105rs for some ice as the fridge didn't work . Please don't book this place we checked into another hotel just near and so much better

The staff were highly unprofessional and started to ask for unnecessary money after checkout On questioning they threatened me that they will call cops if i do not pay. I ended up paying because cops were there and that was poor service

Absolutely worthless for every penny. To start with the Hotel is not well coordinated , the reception staff AM and PM are totally helpless. They do not liaise with the booking partner and then you as customers face the trouble. Pay for the breakfast at the booking page and they’ll say that the breakfast is not there in the reservation and ask you to pay for it. Be ready to get going two times, to and fro from the restro to the reception. The breakfast is pathetic. Croissant’s are cold, limited options, they do not have even ice , needless to say it is not a hotel to go for . The rooms are very narrow, the washroom has leakage, exhaust of the washrooms doesn't work. For requesting any housing keeping service i had to call 6 times for any service. The hotel has worst food, the complimentary breakfast given by the hotel has a very lesser variety of cuisines, even a road side small chai wala has more variety of snacks to offer with tea than this so called 4 star hotel. Even after escalating the issue to hotel management there response was so casual like if they already aware about the problem and they don't want to take any action on it. All they care is about asking for money time to time and providing no services in return. DONOT LOOK TO STAY HERE, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. No pancakes, nuggets are cold and the service of the restaurant staff is also 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎not coming back again. SPOILING CHANDIGARH’s image.

There are two party halls in this porperty, one on second and one on top floor. I stayed there for 3 nights and all nights they played loud music. They have completely non-soundproof walls. You can hear noises from all walls and upper floor as well. I wouldn't recommend this property if you want to have a peaceful sleep.

Maybe it's East vs West

Maybe my expectations were to high for the price ($60.00 p/n). Clean and roomy. Nice bath, quiet location, excellent food and restaurant service very good. Internet which I needed (no Indian SIM Card) was spotty at best. Everytime it worked I had to either sit in the lobby and have desk clerk enter password for me or in room had to call front desk and they would send someone up to put it in for me. Whenever phone went into sleep mode it kicked out the password and they had to resend someone to enter it again. Not good Laundry took 3 phone calls for p/u in rm. When they got it it took over 2 1/2 days to get it back and only after 3 phone calls and some threatening to have it put in my rm. Rm services say Doctor can visit. After asking for that I was told I would have to visit Hospital to get service. Only after I reminded of them of the advertised service did they get a very efficient Doc to me from a private hospital. A 2000 (rup) service. Restaurant service & food was great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet not up to that standard. Place works if you have a car. Taxi, or Uber, to other areas easy. There are no restaurants or shops in the immed area I was only asked on the 3rd day of my stay if I needed room service.

Disgusting low quality hotel

Dont believe the pictures... It is a low quality hotel. The room had damaged floor sections and mold on the walls. There were no towels, the TV control failed and much of the decoration was dirty. Despite the problems, we asked for an upgrade and they charged us more. It was more expensive than a luxury hotel like the JW and the Hyatt. We will not go back to that hotel ...

They have a pub right above the hotel rooms and every Wednesday and Friday they play mind numbing music till 2.30 in the night. It was a business trip and I had a long day and was looking forward to a peaceful night of sleep. but they kept on playing this really loud music till 2.30. When I asked the front desk they said they cannot do anything since it will be up till 2.30. Really disappointing.

Functional, practical hotel in a location I needed

Having read many reviews of this hotel, I could have been forgiven for wondering whether this was a booking I might regret. However, nothing could be further from the truth. The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient and my booking and check-in and out arrangements went fine. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed for its price bracket, as were the grounds and other parts of the hotel I saw. There are some less than positive reviews of this hotel on the site, but I could not identify with any aspect of them. I had booked another hotel in the vicinity but t could not accommodate me for all the nights I needed, so this was a last minute addition for a couple of nights top-up. Following my stay I can state quite freely that based on my own experience it would have suited my needs very well for the whole period of my stay in Chandigarh, and I can only assume that either the hotel has made some drastic changes since some of the less pleasing reviews were posted, or that others' expectations are unreasonably high. I would certainly have no reservations about staying at this establishment again in the future, if the experience of my past visit is matched. I cannot comment on the food or catering, but it seemed to be a popular venue.

Nice hotel in the budget

It was good to stay at this hotel. I was looking for a good place to crash for one night and this hotel provided that. It had good food. Room was good. Washrooms were a bit small but were still manageable. My overall experience was good. They lacked IT people, So if your free Wifi is not working, you shouldn't expect it to be working soon.
