Best place to stay in Crete!

Excellent host. Would show up on bike within 5 minutes. The home is on a beautiful archeological path you can take to see ruins. Home is located within the historical venitian Chania walls. A 3 min walk to bustling city port and center with food, drinks, and night life. The company kyriakos is amazing, we took the bus trip to elafanissi beach, tour guide was amazing, even stopping the bus at an atm to get my cash haha. So easy so professional and so many options. They pick you up from the bus stop that is a 10 min walk. Overall the best experience we had in Greece! We stayed 3 nights but could have easily made it 6.

I had a great experience to stay. The host was very friendly and nice. He gave a lot of recommendation of the restaurants for various food at the first of my arrival. Also at the day I left, he offered me the free parking extending after the checked out time until I left the town. Very kind of him to do so. The location of the Suite was very convenient and walkable to more of the old town within 5-15minutes. At the front of the Suite, there was one of the key Archaeological site. The facility was newly remodeling which was very nice with the equipped coffee machine, refrigerator etc. There were even welcome snacks. I will recommend it to my friend.

Great service after slightly rocky check-in

If staying here, I would recommend you make sure that you have access to internet on your trip. The caretaker of the location messages you a decent amount leading up to arrival, likely because he lives off-site and wants to meet you there. I ended up getting there before him and because I was unsure if he was coming, I spent money paying for cell internet and bought some skype credit to call him. That being said, when he got there he was very accommodating. He had a wealth of information, from the best local coffee shops to restaurants on the way back from places we tended to explore. He even informed us of the recent Samaria Gorge closure, which we wouldn't have known of otherwise. The room itself was great. It was quiet as a whole, and on a relatively quiet street, but the walls aren't the best in terms of sound-proofing, so if there was a loud car or a random drunk passing by you can definitely hear them. Air conditioning was great. One beach towel for the trip, and then I believe a few euro each time if you want them replaced. Parking was another 10 euro per night I believe.

I had the most lovely stay at Agave Suites! The property was centrally located in the Old Town of Chania, walking distance from excellent restaurants and the famous small alleys of the Old Town. The room was stylish and super comfortable. Nikos, the host, offered the warmest welcome and even some Greek delicacies. I highly recommend the Agave Suites.

Nikos is an amazing host who gave us many good recommendations for the area. His apartment is lovely and modern with a very comfortable bed and a great location. It's within walking distance to all the main attractions of Chania but is also along a quiet street which is great for a good night's rest. We will be visiting again!

The stay was very good! The hotel is perfectly located in relation to the Old town and the rooms are of a high standard! In addition, the homeowner is very nice, flexible and accommodating. I can really recommend this place regardless of travel category.

We loved our stay at Agave Suites. Nikos is super helpful and helped us get a great price on a rental car, and gave us tons of useful info for exploring the island, restaurants, etc. The street is a bit dirty, but it’s so close to all of the beautiful parts of the old town. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent place!

We had a wonderful time staying in the Agave Suites. The location is fantastic, a two-minute walk to the all the cafes and restaurants along the seafront of Chania. The suite itself was very comfortable: clean, well-appointed and a relaxing place to be based. Nikolaus was responsive and super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend!

The suite was beautiful and spacious. Excellent location right in the heart of Chania with ancient ruins right next door. The service was fantastic from the staff which communicated throughout our stay to make sure everyrhing was ok. We loved our stay and already planning when we can come back. Only tip for guests is parking is limited at this hotel (typical for europe) and needs to be booked in advance.

Great property and a Amazing host Nik

I really couldn't give this property any higher rating as I would have given it a 6 Stars, there is no reception so make sure you know exactly what time you will arrive, even saying that we arrived unexpectedly ranf the number on the main door and Nik was around in 15 minutes which was excellent. The property is a 1 room studio in brand new condition, everything is super clean and the shower is fantastic with various water sprinkler exit points. Nik went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable and gets a 10/10 as he set us up with whats app and was in constant contact with restaurants and things to do.The location is absolutely perfect as it is 100 metres from the hustle and bustle of the old harbour but without the noise, you couldn't get a better position for being local but still staying quiet. My only regret is I'm not staying longer as we had already booked somewhere else and used this for a stop over point!! Well done Agave Suites and especially Nik will not hesitate to book this again, Kindest Regards, Joey Ricketts
