Any time I am in Chania I will be staying here. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The amenities are amazing. The new chef has curated an absolutely delicious menu. Get the beet salad, it’s life changing. The burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. Dimitra, Stavroula, Esmania, and Anna-Maria were the sweetest servers. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The pool is just the right depth and temperature.

Was a pleasure to stay at this hotel during our 5 night stay! The hotel is very close to the old town/harbor where all the action takes place. There there are tons of shops, restaurants and boats to chose from. Next to the hotel is a Hilton property with a great restaurant on the the roof from from where we saw a great sunset one night. The staff of the Samarian are excellent. Always smiling and willing to help you, we had an issue with our iron. When I brought this up it was quickly replaced with a much better one. The food they serve is also very good. We had an excellent beet salad, sandwich and pasta dish. The bourbon and whiskey section they have is also very special. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was served at a nice location (near the pool) had a great variety and was also excellent. I will remember the smiling staff for a long time!

I loved the location for visiting Old Town. It's also conveniently located right next to the bus station so I recommend taking the the bus from the airport it will save you a ton. The breakfast was good as were the drinks at the bar. I'd do dinner at the surrounding restaurants. Overall it's a very nice place

It was impossible to get to get a spot at the pool as people would put their towel and then disappear. There were not many chairs to accommodate this. Otherwise an amazing hotel that really goes out of their way to provide amazing customer service. I would stay here in a heart beat. The helped arrange a taxi to and from the airport, a rental car and upgraded our room without me asking for it. All very friendly and helpful.
