Holiday Inn Charleston Riverview by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Overpriced for sure but close to Folly beach. No fan/ vent in bathroom. There were four of us and we only had had three towels in room. They gave me hand towels when I asked for a towel for myself."

"Stayed one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, especially considering the price point. I already had a headache before arriving, and the first room had an extremely strong bleach odor that immediately made it worse. Even a staff member acknowledged how strong the smell was. I requested a room change, which the front desk accommodated, but later that evening I discovered dried blood stains on the bedding in the second room. At that point, since I was checking out early the next morning, I chose not to switch rooms again. The staff was polite, and the location is great, but cleanliness and room quality are extremely important to me, especially at over $400/night. I expected a much better experience."

HarbourView Inn
8/10 Good
"Loved the quiet location across from the park but still in easy walking distance to the action. Our room was big with nice touches of southern charm and I enjoyed the little details like complimentary breakfast and wine in the lobby. Would definitely stay again!"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
2/10 Terrible
"I was put in the first room and there was water coming out of the ceiling over the shower. The microwave was not only broken but it had old food in it from a previous occupant. The phone to call the front desk did not work when I tried to call for assistance on the microwave. Last but not least there were mouse droppings in the bathroom, with the color of the carpet no telling if droppings were in the carpet. The carpet didn’t feel clean walking barefoot on. They moved me to a new room which was better. The toilet was constantly running. And the carpet in the common area didn’t even look vacuumed. End game they gave me 60.00 off on a 720.00 bill for 3 Days. That was simply insulting. I am not one to write reviews however this was the worst accommodation I have been in which includes several 3rd world countries I have visited. At a nightly cost of 240.00 per night this was unbelievable to be honest. Do not trust the pictures as they mis represent the product provided."

The Francis Marion Hotel

"Average hotel"

Andrew Pinckney Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Our room was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, different breakfast every day, not your typical hotel. It was like a restaurant. The afternoon wine and cheese was very nice. Various wines and and a small charcuterie board was great. I highly recommend."

"The location is about as good as it gets. The valet service is very considerate and convenient."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Dwtn - Westedge by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work so couldn’t call the front desk, fire alarm battery needed to be changed, and when we finally went to check out they said “we tried to change your room for you, I don’t know why nobody told you” Meanwhile, we were at the front desk atleast twice a day asking for help."

Holiday Inn Express Charleston by IHG

"Found the room to be clean, the pool area well maintained, and the dining area common area kept clean. Would suggest if anyone is staying only tonight to have some sort of signage, letting them know that the dirty towels are not taken from the room and fresh towels replaced. The front staff was not always available in the mornings and did not see a way to alert anyone that assistance was needed. My biggest disappointment and I did speak to the manager was on the second evening. I wanted to print my Southwest Airlines boarding pass. Both computers in the common area did not allow access to the site, the gentleman that was working that evening did not know how to access the Internet site. Additionally, he did not offer to allow access to from his computer. And the most disappointing part was he did not appear to want to help other than instruct me to just go to the airport and print my pass there. Even a suggestion to let the am shift know would have been helpful so that in the morning someone could have assisted me would have been an option."
