"The inn was extremely difficult to navigate with a toddler, I wasn’t made aware of the full flight of stairs to get to our room or the fact that there would be a flight of stairs in the actual room itself. There was a balcony with a railing that was also not safe for a toddler and there was no way to block off the stairs. There was only one tiny garbage in the bathroom for the whole room. Having no front desk was difficult and they couldn’t be reached via email when I tried."

"The AC was locked and did not stay on. Had to get up to pull plug to reset several times in night. If I pay for the room I should be able to set the temp to my preference. Otherwise the hotel was very good but disappointing regarding comfort from AC"

"My reviews weren’t great just because they are in the middle of renovations. I was in a room not renovated and the bathroom needed updating. Other than that, the staff was pleasant and it looked like things would be much better after the renovations."

"Quaint stay in Springfield, VT in a 1904 built mansion which is a National Historic Landmark. Wonderful room in the attached hotel adjacent to the mansion. The rooms were beautiful and the mansion itself had a coffee & drink station in a beautiful reading room complete with grand piano, 1920s-era music, and a library. The property is quiet but close to the downtown. It's a 12 minute walk to the downtown area. The Copper Fox is a must try restaurant. The atmosphere and experience can't be beat....

"A sweet lodge in Vermont close to Quechee Gorge, a lovely location. Very spacious rooms. Well maintained and clean. Morning breakfast will get you off for a good day of looking around this beautiful state. Quite a little jewel, I think."
